With Law No. 1004 of 2005 and Decrees No. 383 and No. 4051 of 2007, which regulates the free trade zones regimen, Colombia has become in the leader in Latin America offering incentives to new investments, employment generation and technology; all of this, within the frame of the Word Trade Organization.


With the purpose to take advantage of these incentives, the new WESTERN FREE TRADE ZONE (ZFO) has arrived to help you to face the challenge of the globalization, with effectiveness and productivity, helping to generate a powerful participation of the capital city region in the Gross National Product – GNP.

SUPPORT AND ADVICE OF THE BOGOTA FREE TRADE ZONE


The WESTERN FREE TRADE ZONE will have the support and advice of the operation of the BOGOTA S.A. FREE TRADE ZONE, which counts with more than 10 years of experience as operation user, indispensable for the management of the free trade zone regimen, reason why, it is catalogued as the most important operator of free trade zones in the country. The ZFO (by its acronym in Spanish) will count with operation procedures duly certified by the norm ISO 9001:2000, as well as with the BASC certification, according to its highest security standards, and, with personnel highly trained in the free trade zones operation. Its operations will be supported by the Free Trade Zones Integral Computer Control Program, PICIZ (by its acronyms in Spanish), being the more recognized and used system for the operation of free trade zones in Colombia.
