ZONA  FRANCA DE OCCIDENTE It is part of the Global Program of Eco-Industrial Parks of the United Nations, when chosen by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (ONUDI), to develop and implement strategies for circular economy, cleaner production and synergies / symbiosis Industrial.

On Tuesday, August 27, at the facilities of ZONA FRANCA DE OCCIDENTE, in the presence of Lizeth Olaya Zambrano National Coordinator GEIPP-Colombia of ONUDI, the Memorandum of Understanding and Commitment was signed to participate in the Global Eco-Industrial Parks Program, intervention at the country level Colombia by ONUDI.
